  1. The American Swedish Institute was cool. It was founded by a Swedish immigrant (there are a lot of them in the areaa) who ran a Swedish language newspaper for a number of years and built a mansion that he only lived in briefly before turning it into the institute. You can see it behind the food. They do fun sounding events year round. Makes me wish there was something similar back east.
